Halloween Treats After a Workout

How to Cut Body Weight Without Giving Up Sugar During The Candy Season.

It’s October! Candy season! Halloween time; trick or treat time! Pumpkin pies, lattes, and desserts of all sorts. This season usually brings some challenges to maintain healthy and fit.

October can be tough when you’re trying to lose weight. Candy shows up everywhere, and it’s easy to either avoid sugar completely for a few days or give up on your goals until January. You don’t have to do either.

Enjoy a treat you actually like, but pay attention to how much you’re eating. A few mini chocolate bars can quickly add a few hundred extra calories to your day.

During my time cutting weight and toning up my physical appearance, micronutrients are super important for building a good physique.

Whenever I want to lose my pudgy stomach or want to look good for the beach, I know that eating clean food and working out on a training plan is the key.

Whenever it is a season of sharing and enjoying the presence of one another, having sweet treats is a must. These sweet treats could also be macro-friendly and tasty! For example, fruits are great for cutting since they have that sweet taste without sacrificing calories or being worried you’re consuming unnecessary sugar for a little snack.

The goal is balance: build your meals around protein-rich foods like lean meat, eggs, and Greek yogurt, stay active, and keep up with your workouts.

One piece of candy won’t ruin your progress; the all-or-nothing mindset will. If you want help creating a realistic nutrition and training plan this fall, talk to the team at The Markham Gym about working with a personal trainer or coach.
